The truth as I know it:

We witness a miracle every time a child enters into life. But those who make their journey home across time & miles, growing within the hearts of those who wait to love them, are carried on the wings of destiny and placed among us by God's very own hands. ~~~ Kristi Larson

Oh Southern Winter, where art thou?

I live in the South... remember!  What the HECK.... ANOTHER snow day! Grrrrrrr!

It's so bad, I was actually laying in bed, awake, but hoping the kids wouldn't wake up, changing the words to the Justin Timberlake song, SexyBack.  I swear, it went something like this....

Snowy day.... Can I whip them if they misbehave?

I won't bore you with the rest of the horrid lyrics, but I think you get the point that I've been driven over the edge here! HA.... anyone out there?  Please.... leave me a comment.... I need a laugh... say something funny!

Also, here's a photo of Meg in her new Poppy Dip Twirl skirt.  It's way cuter than the snow photos!

Adorable skirt.

As for the snow, well, I don't know what to recommend except enjoy it while it lasts.

That skirt is really pretty and even better on a pretty little girl like Meg.

We also have had more snow than any depressive meds could handle. (that was a joke, I am truly not on anything)

I did pray and ask God for sunshine last night...I REALLY NEEDED sunshine. He was again faithful..and gave it to me. Of course it is only 19 degrees, but darnit, the SUN is SHINING.

Kids are napping. We didn't have school yesterday, but today they did...so I only have 2 home. It is like a vacation.

One dog's butt is better and one is passed out in my closet on anti-anxiety meds.

Just trying to stay positive Ondrea. counting my blessings.

blah, blah, blah.

Did anyone tell us this snow was coming? Maybe I should watch the news more often. Anyway, we are snowed-in here with five kids (plus two puppies who don't want to potty in the snow), and NO FOOD in the pantry. I got our car stuck at the bottom of our driveway (1/4 mile & all up hill) after driving in the blizzard last night to take my mom a can of tuna and box of crackers. She wasn't prepared for the snow either.

We had a Superbowl party with more people than I could even count (none of which actually rsvp of course.) The food we prepared ahead was gone in about 30 seconds so I spent most of the game in the kitchen cooking every ounce of food I could find. A good time was had by all, but alas, that is why our cupboards are bare and the kids are about to start chewing on my leg soon. We just sent Martin out with snow-shoes to trek down the mountain, dig out the car, and find us some Zaxby's chicken.

Dear Lord, please hurry and bring out the sun!!!

P.S. Very cute skirt. I'd never heard of that company but will need to check it out now!

Cute skirt - but I obviously need my eyes tested since I misread it as 'poopy dip skirt.'

Which clearly, would be wrong on many, many levels.

Sorry to hear about more snow, but on a personal level, I am hoping it sticks around for a bit longer. ;) We are going to my mom's next week and Caroline is DYING to build a snowman. We NEED the snow to still be there or even snow while we're there. Hey, maybe it will just miss you and only snow in South Fulton! LOL! I am still praying about that situation that I called you about....any more news...if so, email me. :)

Nothing funny to say, except, we feel your pain, and are actually wishing for snow up here, we have had NO snowdays! Meg looks so grownup!
