The truth as I know it:

We witness a miracle every time a child enters into life. But those who make their journey home across time & miles, growing within the hearts of those who wait to love them, are carried on the wings of destiny and placed among us by God's very own hands. ~~~ Kristi Larson

A REAL Orphan Movie

I just want to share a video worth watching.  This is precious proof of what adoption can look like.  On the surface, my friend Kristi had the "perfect" family.  Two boys, two girls, a beautiful home in a nice neighborhood, stay at home mommy and happy marriage.  But God's "happy" doesn't "look" like the world's definition of happy, He had so much more for them.  So when He called, they added the most gorgeous little Ethiopian treasure to their four bio children and the rest is history.   Watch this video and I dare you not to be touched.  It's so sweet!

Thanks, Kristi, for sharing Lucy Lane's Homecoming Video with the world!  She is yummy and I am so glad I get to be a little part of her life.

Proverbs 24:11 "Rescue those being led away to death; hold back those staggering toward slaughter."

Oh my goodness.....I so need a big box of tissues right now! What a beautiful story! I was adopted as an infant and would love to adopt one day. And I've been having major baby fever too. This is just a wonderful testimony to the blessing of adoption!

See...how much you are doing for orphans awareness. Here's another beautiful story that I would have never known about! You never know how seeds will take root and grow. I was told this weekend by our beautiful inside and outside daughter that she plans to adopt azt some point in her life! How cool is that!

Are you guys still headed to Elmore County this week?

That was so beautiful! Oh, how I would love to convince Martin that we need to go adopt from Ethiopia. He's certainly going to think I am crazy because for the past few months I have been planting seeds about a little special needs 5 year old girl in Ukraine. I have been torn between thinking we are done and wanting so bad to adopt again. Just when I finally think we're DONE, you post this homecoming video that had me in tears and the hair standing up on my arms. Wow!
