I'm very excited about this new outfit I made for Meg yesterday. I took a class to learn shirring and I'm pretty happy with the results of my first project. It even fits, which is a miracle. Kinda crazy fabric, but I love Anna Maria Horner and this is her stuff, it's so much fun. I wish I could get away with wearing something that fun!

Great job on sewing! I really like the way the fabrics look so cute together. The pants look like a pattern that I just recently bought..boutique bottoms and bella bottoms. I just bought Caroline some Amy Butler prints to make her an outfit for her birthday. If you ever need any hairbows or ribbon sculptures, let me know...I make those! :)
That is awesome! How in the world did you find time to sew?!
You made that???!!! You are VERY talented. I just love it. It is adorable on Meg! What a great outfit. I could just go on and on...I'm impressed.
How in the world do you find time in the day to take a class and sew and entire outfit in one day? I can barely open the mail some days!
Ondrea,
That outfit is just TOO cute (and Meg is amazingly sweet in it)! Love love love the fabric. Did you create the pattern?
So what's up with shirring? I've always wanted to learn how to smock (I have no idea WHY, just have always been intrigued by the word "smock" I think!) Is shirring like that?
Thanks for sharing...like everyone else, I am impressed that you have time.
No, silly...court! We made our first trip the end of January...I kept it a secret. We are actually waiting for our court date. Check out the old posts on my blog...you won't have to go back too far.
I wondered if you had forgotten about me and now I know you were just shirring. Ha. :D
Talk to you soon!
Love this outfit...how amazing that you made it...something I'd never attempt to do (even though I will cut my kids hair). Loved the outfit she was wearing today too.
Again, thanks for planning such a fun day!
